The month of May brought beautiful weather and even more beautiful memories here at The Green House® Cottages of Belle Meade in Paragould, Arkansas. From gardening to milkshakes, and from honoring our nurses to celebrating our beloved mothers, this month was filled with joy, gratitude, and community spirit.

Our amazing therapy team has been working hand-in-hand with our elders to tend to our garden. With the sun shining and flowers blooming, it’s been the perfect time to get outside, dig in the dirt, and nurture plants and friendships. The garden has become a peaceful and purposeful space for everyone to enjoy.

One of our cottages, Bell, enjoyed a delicious and refreshing treat—homemade strawberry milkshakes! The smiles were as sweet as the shakes, and it was a perfect way to enjoy a warm spring afternoon.

Mother’s Day was a heartfelt celebration at The Green House® Cottages of Belle Meade. Several elders received beautiful flowers, brightening their day and rooms. A special thank you goes to Bella Klingensmith, who generously gifted flowers to our moms. We also hosted a lovely Mother’s Day Brunch, where our mothers were honored with love, laughter, and a delicious meal shared with friends and family.

We couldn’t let May pass without celebrating our incredible nurses during National Nurses Week! Each day brought a new theme, and our nurses and elders had a blast dressing up and showing off their fun and festive spirit. In addition to the themed days, our nurses were treated to yummy soda floats, snacks, and thoughtful gifts—a small token of appreciation for the big hearts they bring to Belle Meade every day.

As we look back on this month, we’re reminded of the strength, kindness, and joy that fill our cottages. Thank you to our staff, families, and community members who help make The Green House® Cottages of Belle Meade such a special place to call home.
